Greetings Bonny!

Marble, it's about 14 hours to the show up here

My arsenal for tonight will be seven 6" shells, some salutes and maybe some rockets. Will post a picture as soon as I got it.
Føkk off mate!

Rocket has been pressed with my new swanky tube support (3" solid brass block with a hole in the middle)

I can hear numerous things now, looks like some people down the road busted out a bunch of consumer gear :)

My Sister arrived in Cairns last night and is off to the Esplanade Lagoon to watch the big firework display there.
Very jealous at the moment lol.
May let of a few salutes if it isn't to cold, if not, I will watch the tv.

A bit low key here- there are some bangs going off here and there, and I fired a couple of Comet candle- plus a misfire! Well, i guess I can say it was my first misfire of the year. :P I only had one misfire in 2007 , too.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

I didn't see BBC 1, but I'm guessing, just a random guestimate, that they were showing fireworks from....... London? :D

Just got in from the pub so Happy New Year to everyone reading.

Unfortunately a quiet one from me as I have been away the past 3 days and my veline reds havent dried sufficiently to fire yet sob sob. Im thinking of saving them for March's meet down at Icarus' place. ANd Ive been ordered to work on pink stars and a heart shell for Valentines so anyone with any experience with shaped bursts from shells please make yourself known to me!

Buon anno!
Happy new year from Italy. :)

All went well, but a shell which i didn't let all the way down the mortar and consequently didn't get very high before exploding... we had green stars all around us! :D
