Made an order a few days ago and the shipping came to £24 for 7kg to the UK which seems ok.

Anyone from the uk ordered from him, any idea how long it takes?

With mine it took about a week to get from him to leaving Poland, once the parcel left Poland I was able to track it using a code for use with Parcelfarce's website.

I understand that the Polish postal service send the package to Gdansk where it gets sent to the UK, passes through Customs and then onto Parcelforce for delivery.

Is it against UK law to have KClO4, could you get into trouble for ordering this in amounts like 1kg? im considering ordering some, since i cant find any UK suppliers i might have import.

Anyone know a good UK supplier?

As far as I can tell there is no prohibition Customs wise to importing perchlorates but they may try stinging you for VAT if you bring it in

I don't know whether HSE could tell you whether you need a permit. I guess it all depends how much you intend on ordering

Perhaps give HSE a ring and ask them, can't shoot you for asking questions , can they ?

I think that the customs guide is above £19 they will charge the VAT and whatever import duty is payable. ( below that value the paperwork costs more than the recovered duty! ) If it comes from a EU country and the seller has charged VAT in the country of supply then usually no further VAT is payable though import duty may be payable on the inc vat value.

However almost the only industrial use for KClO4 is fireworks manufacture so unless you have a licensed factory and all the permissions HMRC may not be interested but other agencies may be.

Shame inoxia only sell Perc in 1kg minimum - fancied just trying a bit, i ordered 2kg of KNO3 and 1kg of Sulpur and 500g dextrin as well as 500g of black copper oxide and strontium carbonate. :)

Not bothering with perc yet gotta focus getting my rockets actually IN THE AIR first hehe. Hope the dextrin will help me get there, what with granulating and ,what not.

K perc is not something that you regret buying a kilo of...

Also on the recommended to buy from Inoxia list, Gum Arabic and Parlon.

There is no need for dextrin in your BP based rocket fuels. If you use dextrin the granules will be very hard and make it difficult to press / ram.

I have used the inoxia dextrin, it is a clean white grade. I am sure it is very pure, but I have to say I find the yellow stuff seems to be a better binder.
Phew that was close.
