Maybe your computer can count to 256 million in seconds, but the transmittion and receiving systems wouldn't allow that sort of data rate. So you'd have to wait 200mS for each attempt, and that might take some time, this sort of brute force attack in practice is very hard to do and requires not only arranging the data in the correct packetised form, but also communicating with the correct handshaking in order to process commands.
For instance the data may be sent to the receiver, then the receiver may require the data to be sent again in an inverted form or in a form as processed against the code hopped key. This would make it virtually impossible for any computer to guess and send a correct full command. It is possible, (as anything is), but would probably take longer then the guys will be there firing the show (and a few of their birthdays).

Thats some very nice equipment some people have, BUT, the way I look upon it is what are the canses of anybody sbotaging a back garden show or even a big show. I expect (I hope) the listener is turned on only when ready to fire a.k.a a few minutes before. I personaly wouldn't even think about using a remote detonition unless I had some of the equipment you have. Use good old wires if you ask me. BTW The battery stay in my pocket or in the house when I am wiring up the beef.
