What are the best perchlorate compositions for green and red stars? I have almost all chemicals metals included. I'm looking for bright and beautyfull compositions, can i have an advice?

However there are several worthwhile formulations. Largely these are from various contributors or researchers in the field. Always choice of compound design matters, sometimes ingredients are too expensive, sometimes there are chemical incompatibilities.
The balance of effect, safety and price is different for each used.
Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

two good reds, first a shimiuz organic, slightly pale , perc 66, red gum 13, strontium carbonate 12, lampblack 2, pvc 2,dextrin 5, cut star 25% alcohol
the next a metallic fueled star" veline red", which i have just tried tonight! very nice, perc 53, red gum 9,magnallium 200# ( or flake ali) 6, strontium carbonate 14, parlon 14, dextrin 4

Polyvynil Chloride, 60-200 mesh, 25
Magnesium, 40-60 mesh, 20
-Boracic Acid
Coarser grades of magnesium and PVC can be used which will actually deepen the colour somewhat. It does burn very green.
Strontium Nitrate, 60
Magnesium, 25
PVC, 20
Same stuff.
Strontium Nitrate, 60
PVC, 10
Charcoal, airfloat pine 20
Sulfur, 10
-More orange than red
EDIT: Concerning the last one, I assume the same effect can be made with barium nitrate to create a limey colour, but it would probably need more PVC which might affect the charcoal's assistance in helping the other two fuels burn properly.

pyro aluminum 10
red gum 5
boric acid +2
Is possible to use magnalium instead of aluminium? In this case is boric acid needed on not? What prime and solvent it needs? Some dextrine must be added I think.
For MDH:
I know that these magnesium needs specials handling (do not use water,ecc.). How can I bind them? NC laquer? what happens if I use fine magnesium (I have the finest grade:230-500 MESH). What prime is needed?

I don't wet mine down, I press them in small tubes or paper cubes and ram or press them in. Boric acid simply stops strong bases from forming which can cause the composition to ignite in case it does get wet, I don't think dichromate is needed unless one is working with ammonium perchlorate.
These are very blinding stars... best not stare directly at them.
Additionally, I don't prime my stars, I just spike the BP to make it hotter, but it still fails sometimes. Since bits of magnesium burn very easily, it's viable to simply press a bit of BP on the top of each star tube.
Oh - and I don't use fine magnesium, I use coarser stuff for a slower burn, about 40-60 mesh.
