Browsing, shopping for and buying fireworks - 10/10.

doing any display 0 too cold wet and dark except sharing with other pyro,s which scores 10
fireworks for a living 0 no thanks
watching displays 10
manufacture and techniques a big 10
history of pyro very interesting 10
add a few air cannons and other esoteric un mentionables 10
firing experimental home made pyro - the best way to store it ,my pyro store is totally safe - field ash with occasional showers of shell shite 10

The manufacture/chemistry of pyrotechnics- 10/10...But more so the manufacture,art, skill and craftsmanship.Lets try and keep the traditional methods alive guys

Watching displays (category 3, 4, demos etc)- 10/10 i just find it ammazeing - like sitting infront of a bonfire when your a kid.

The history of pyrotechnics- 9/10 i like it because you find out crazy things people used to think was normal witch you would now be put in the crazy place for!
overall i like makeing stuff sometimes i just sit outside with my chems round me and experment ,some times i just read pages and pages of the internet. i live watching like 5" commets go into the sky at profettional things.

Doing Category 4 displays, ie fireworks for a living- 1/10 wouldnt mind, but dont have the time to keep doing regular displays to keep up!
Watching displays (category 3, 4, demos etc)- 6/10 quite like them, but prefer letting them off
The manufacture/chemistry of pyrotechnics- 0/10 let the pros do it

The most enjoyable part of fireworks must be searching through catalogues and shops getting a copious ammount of fireworks and letting rip on your garden and seeing all the neighbours pulling faces and curtain twitching.
Doing displays is good but requires planning - getting a huge cake and letting it off for the sake of it can often be more fun.
As for watching displays they are never as much fun as doing your own.
