I was going to post hope you had a good course, but it appears you did. Hopefully it was really informative and you all had a good one (and passed the test)

Yeah, BIG thanks to Arthur for making this happen. I really had a very informative and enjoyable day :)

It really was an eyeopener as just to how much legislation there is that deals with fireworks and we only skimmed the surface. I must say though, that a ADR course sounds tempting.

Anyway, thanks to all for a great day........

Oh, I didn't fall asleep digger

Cheers

Thanks again Arthur for organizing this for us,
If the chance comes up again i can highly recommend it,very informative and when passed only two steps away from being cat4 compliant.

It was excellent to meet some forum members and a unforgetable finale on sat eve !

Must say many thanks iccarus and his wife for having us there and for the tea and biscuits.

Glad to hear you found the course useful, Steve certainly knows his stuff.

Two steps, big steps - insurance and storage :)

Steve proved to be a very competent trainer, I hope there will be a good pass rate. I have three sites for a container with 100m radius and propose to build some casually employed firing for companies until I can gain the experience to sell my own shows and get my own business and insurance. Insurance is really the easy bit you just have to pay for it!

As anyone received anything yet? I haven't and the anticipation is killing me  I think It would be wise though NOT to post if anyone passed or failed, but rather communicate through PM

Not yet mate... I agree with you - It would be just toooooo embarrasing if I failed (which is entirely possible).

Hi Athur,

Thanks for arranging the whole thing. It was an excellent course and I got to put a few faces to names. The extracuricular activity afterwards was damned entertaining too!

I do hope no one failed. There was a lot of legislation to absorb in a short space of time. It would help if the course booklet was distributed prior to attending the course.

I think we presented ourselves and UKPS in a very good light - ambassadors (if you like) worthy of respect rather than censure for reckless and dangerous fringe persuits. I did get the impression we were initially seen as potentially dubious individuals. It was a good PR exercise if nothing else.

Yes we were a surprise to him because he said he expected a lesser attitude but was very surprised by the dilligence and competence shown.

AFTER the silly season Steve and Chris will be available for professional consultancy on skills, legislation and licences. For Professional fees.
