Here is a video of some of the small homemade stuff I fired on Nov 5th.

They were mainly recreations of old Standard and Brocks items, with a few innovations of my own!

Some good stuff there Phil. Just a quick question what was the blue formula that you used?
Phew that was close.

Thanks for the comments!

The blue was B10

Potassium Perchlorate 38
Ammonium Perchlorate 29
Copper Carbonate 14
Red Gum 14
Dextrin 5

The Red/Pink stars were from Lancaster

Potassium Chlorate 70
Strontium Carbonate 15
Red Gum 10
Dextrin 4
Charcoal 150 mesh 1

My main problem was with the mines, for some reason the tops did not blow off properly and the stars went sideways with not much height - think my BP was a bit weak - still fun though and as usual learned lots from the results...

It happens all the time and that is what makes pyro so fun mate :). We learn from our mistakes and in time of making hundreds of them we soon will perfect what we want to make.

Was nice to see some of the older stuff that was banned before I got interested in pyro there Phil!

Heres a 5" shell that I fired earlier, still seems a little under-bursted despite the 5g of flash and the whistle/meal powder on crispies break. This was my first attempt with plastic 5" hemis, so could have been worse.

Also I succesfully confused the cameraman by including a few leftover pop glitter stars in the lift charge, as a kind of mine effect, he then proceeded to film the ground and missed the actual break, but all credit to him that he managed to point the camera in the right direction as soon as he realised

I was chuffed to bits it's worked :D , as were my parents (you'll hear, lol) who were over for the evening.
