I'd get some barium nitrate and maybe some more different grades of aluminum. What's the barium chloride for?

IMO...

Drop the BaCl2- unless you have a specific use for it same for LiCl

Get more NH4ClO4- it is not an easy thing to acquire and is very very useful

Ba(NO3)2 and infact Ba(ClO3)2 are very useful compounds...

Also some various Al grades and Magnalium- its exceptionally useful.

Hey.. well done. How did you do that? Maybe you could PM me if it's a secret!

I'd add some copper oxychloride for nice blues, potassium benzoate for whistle and ferro-titanium for gold sparks...

Lithium chloride can be used for red ghosts mines along with methanol. Same goes probably for barium and copper chloride. But unless making these I see no point of bying it either

I could drop those then awesome. The only magnalium I can have shipped is very coarse, is this ok? More Ammonium perchlorate it is then 5lbs sound ok? Dont wana order any more aluminum because of the kclo4 dont want them to think im making flash.

I think ordering different types of alu will just make it more clear that you're going for pretty effects and not bangers.

I also need a decent ball mill, got storage down for these things but my mills suck. Gonna build my own I guess. I need a surface to work on as in a table. Do you guys suggest something simple and perhaps glass or wood?

Magnalium is brittle and easily crushed in a coffee grinder or ball mill so yes, get some of the coarse stuff if the price is right. 100 mesh is good for strobes and 200 is great for most of the metal fuelled stars comps - both can be home made from the coarse stuff...

Is this reliable, does anyone have one? http://pyrocreations...c/sdetail/11960 I have 2 of the 3lb ones but one broke and It looks like I cant fix it. Plus I want a larger capacity. Is this thing efficient?

A three pound mill will take 2 lb 14 oz of media and two ounces of powder roughly. Do NOT fill the drum with lead and hope it will work, it may but it will die very quickly due to you overloading it.

Whatever load capacity is quoted in pounds expect it to mill that many ounces of compound.

Find a supplier for lighter ceramic media, which will allow you to fill it to optimum levels of media.

but as lead does a much better and speedier job of milling then technically a lead filled jar puts less time on your milling so therefore saves on the machinery.

No I mean does anyone have one of those 15lb ones. My motor didnt break, the drive shaft did. I have lead, chrome and ceramic media, lead is by far the best.
