look under BINDERS in the left hand column.

Its water soluble and I use it as a binder for comets as stated above. Its able to set a 2" comet ready for firing 3 hours after pressing it.

Boy I wish I was in the UK.

I've been searching online for something like that in Canada and not getting much luck

Would you happen to know of a brand name for this product after googling "Phenolic Resol Resin", I can find very little information on it, and even less on sources to buy.

I think Plenco are one of the biggest manufacturers over your side of the pond. It's not something I've tried myself ( I use GRP and HDPE tubes ), but I've used phenolics for fireproofing other things with a certain degree of success, so might be worth a go.
Trying to do something very beautiful but very dangerous very safely....
