ok thanks, what if you have taken the BPA exam and passed it you should get paid after this as i am aware shouldnt you ?



No idea what the rules are over there, so can't help with that one. It would likely depend on the responsibility you are given on the show. The lead is usually responsible and therefore is paid (the most).

As Arthur said, this will depend on the company. If you did the BPA through that company, they should be paying you (IMHO). However, some companies offer the BPA to everyone and insist on a number of 'free' training shows (around 3 would be reasonable). Chat to the display manager to find out where you stand,and where you go from here.

well with this company we had to pay for the training and exam ourselves and we have done about 7 seven shows so far and still nothing as far as money is concerned.

So you are BPA qualified, have done 7 shows with a company and haven't been paid at all??

I would be asking a few questions :)

If they do not pay you then perhaps you do not exist on their books and are working with fireworks without any insurance. Seriously ask questions.
