From what I've seen this year, Lidl are same as last 2 years so are Aldi, Morrisons are same as last 2 years with a few new items, and the rest? I haven't even looked yet!
Interesting to see Netto are stocking Standard, a different range from last year, thanks for the link.
And I am very lucky in that I always save fireworks leaflets from Supermarkets and shops, I've got some going back 3 years and it's interesting to see the same old items with prices increased, I'll post some pics later.
Thanks.

I'd be cautious about Men Shun's range. They changed most of the items in 2007, to remove flashpowder, the result being that the item was basically a different firework- some were really rather wimpy. If in doubt, ask to see the item- they put the date on the back. 2006 is old spec.

those must be really large/good rockets to be worth £25 for 5
I had a look at some in the store, they appear to be 5m Garden rockets, for £25.

Sainsburys are selling Standard again this year, very expensive but i guess that's why it's all buy one get one free. The biggest selection box Sainsburys do is £39.99 and contains only 13 fireworks. go on the Standard website and a box for the same price contains at least 3x that many, plus the sainsburys boxes are extremely window dressed, take a look at the big boxed fountain open it up and you'll be dissapointed to see a small tube about 5x smaller than the box. Saying this i had one last year and the fireworks you do get are pretty good, ive got 2 this year for filler.
Cheers,
Nath

Sadly, thats the way it is, in most cases (crap pun) and things haven't changed much in years. I can still remember them doing it well over 10 years ago.

I wouldn't say any item in them is worth more than a £1 on it's own.

Those are almost certainly the new spec versions of Black Mamba, which was generally though of as a pretty good rocket- loud with a decent burst.
