Those rockets look shocking! did you take the head off one to have a look what's inside? ..... kinda reminds me of the Rio pack from Alsi last year....3 different sized rockets (small to large) ... but they all had the same size motor on them. opened one up for a look and there was absolutely no difference in payload size....a tiny little ballhead stuck inside the huge head

well if you want 3! it is and spend another £10 on petrol getting there doesnt look that good then. There are other outlets other than epic in this country and ones that dont put false rrp on items who give a personnal service too and know all the items they sell.. sorry but i have been bottling that up for months.

Waiting for the backlash...

However I know this as annoyed another retailer far more than me.

I was only trying to help Azlar find the best deal, It was you who brought up the brothers companion box so i just stated a place where it is even cheaper. Yes its a bit further to travel but if Azlar found someone else nearby (a friend, neighbour) to travel with then the petrol would be split and therefore it would be cheaper still.

As for them 'apparently' stating the wrong RRP's (which to be honest they didn't) it still doesn't detract away from the fact they are still one of the most competitive outlets in the country and i was only giving Azlar the opportunity to view all options available to him which is what i thought the forum was about, sharing our experiences and passing on any info we have to others so they can save money and thats from an independent buyer and not a retailer who is drumming business for themselves.

I went to Epic and recieved an absoltely fantastic deal, so much so that i went back a few week later and recieved an even better deal it well and truly covered the price of my petrol to do over a 300 mile round trip twice and im sure im not the only one who would say likewise.

Anyway back to the topic when i was there i am sure the Brothers Companion selection box could be bought singular Azlar but its prob just best to check with them first as on there website it only states the buy 3 for 70:49 offer.

Oh no lol, the rockets in that picture are Boom Time 'Offensive' rockets, they don't come with the Streetwise box, I just had them next to it on my floor because they were so big, we got them with a pack from Epic Fireworks. From what I can remember they weren't to bad.

I didn't take a look inside, but heres another picture of them (obviously they are a bit window dressed but weren't to bad)...

I was talking about these rockets in the box (Red tops), they looked decent enough but were shockingly bad, they sort of just shot up and did nothing, like they were just full of air inside, and a few didn't launch...

think you will find they were made to change it!
Anyway thats a different debate. That belongs elsewhere and was not started by me just stating a fact.

This is all to do with Brothers, who apparantly don't set RRPs and as such the given "rrp" can vary wildly.

Best advice is to look at the price you are paying, and decide if it is worth it. EG I'd be happy paying about £30 for Airboss, £25 for FanTastic etc.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

I am sure if you ring Brothers they will supply you with an appropriate rrp for any of their pieces :)

which is the price that epic quote online and sell that item at in their shop (the website price is wrong at the moment and in the process of being altered)

Currently the Epic Website does have Companion at £59.99 RRP, although with VAT to be Added, making it £70.48 on a buy one get two free deal.

So the deal isn't really buy one get two free then is it :)

Not wanting to start/continue an argument about the pricing I am just merely stating a fact.
