Hi Peeps, I'm looking to add to what I've allready bought with a couple of decent rockets preferrably double burst.
I am limited to certain manufacturer's though, mainly all the supermarket makes, Aldi and Lidl included, MenShun, Standard and Fireworks International.
I allready have Menshuns Catalina and Kittyhawk rocket packs, and have spent quite a bit on every thing else, so i just want something a little extra, that won't cost the earth.
Any advice greatly appreciated and I'm sure I'm in the right place to ask.

If you can find somewhere local that stocks cube fireworks then try the Trident warheads, they come in a pack of four and are about 15-20 quid a pack.

I think the 'Gold Medal' rockets in Lidl are double burst and supposed to be ok, about £4.99 for a pack of 5 I think.

They are a dual effect - they burst with one effect which ejects the second effects unit. They are £4.99 for 4. Pretty good for the money especially volley fired (at least last years were - I haven't got any of this years yet to see if they differ).I think the 'Gold Medal' rockets in Lidl are double burst and supposed to be ok, about £4.99 for a pack of 5 I think.
I know people here often slag off the Aldi WECO rockets as unreliable and over packaged but I have always found them to be pretty reasonable - something like 35mm shell heads at about £1 a pop isn't bad, single break but quite good compared to a lot of the cheapish rocket packs.

Thanks for the reply, in total disobeyance of my wife not to buy any more fireworks, I have gone and bought a 'Gold medal' pack from Lidl, and yes they are twin effect. Can't be bad for that money.
