Hi again.

My local P & Q store is selling all Men Shun products at BOGOF. I was looking at getting a finale x2 for added effect. Would x2 Symphony In The Sky's do it or doesn't it have enough wow factor?

Well, depends a lot on the year. 2006 is old spec - louder- whereas 2007 could be complete tripe. It is really hard to say anything definate about Men Shun, as they change their fireworks all the time.

Does the shop have any stuff that is new for 2008? Some of that looks nice, but it would be mega loud.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

They have a few new 2008 barrages. Either that or I go to a local seasonal store that specialises in Bright Star items?

Some of the new finale barrages looked OK on the DVD. Can't remember the best ones but from:

Sky Diving devils
White Water Rapids
Montain Bike Thrill

Some people also like Mid Air Collision. I've fired one and thought it was terrible, especially at an rrp of £100.

Yeah- If budget is an issue, a couple of smaller cakes are probably better.

Are there x2 Men Shun smaller cakes that you could recommend that could be fired together?

At 2008 spec, I haven't seen enough to make comment. At old spec, the 19 shotters (hexagons) for example were very good.
