Okay so tomorrow is the big day and all but thats mid week and most shows are not on till fri, sat even sun.

Most place are doing Buy One Get One Free but when do you think prices will drop so they can shift the lot?

Tomorrow, saturday, monday even?

I went around the local village today

Homebase, Carys DIY, Mc Cools, Outlet and Co-Op are the places that are selling where i live.

My mate works at Co-op so i can get 10% off there which is handy!! heheh

Just thinking of cashing in on stuff being sold off cheap

Seeing as most of those places will only have a seasonal licence (until 10 November) and that Saturday is the 8th Nov, I think the window for sale items will be short, can't say I have ever seen the DIY/Supermarkets reduce their fireworks below their normal offers - but probably not checked.

I do know that one Chesterfield based store is looking at what specials they can do from mid to end Nov ;)

Umm i didn't think of that at all, might well be worth going out on Monday then and seeing what i can get. Might use the fact i want them for something at the pub!

I think a lot of seasonals don't "sell off" they just have everything put back into storage for next year. With supermarkets I doubt they will do any offers, but there is always a "maybe." Best bet might be shops who are deciding to pack it in- I know a couple round me.

I have heard rumours that shops like Latifs and JTF do sell offs, but it is hard to say.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Genuine discounts, or similar stuff to their normal "deals?" It might vary from store to store, too.

A lot of shops will probably be holding on untill after the wekend, I got told by the guy in the Bulldog Shop in Kirkham that they will be there untill at least Saturday 8th.

However if I do pick up anything now it will be saved for New Year!

I think they are probably closing up for the season now. Bulldog don't really do sales, I don't think, they just tend to open seasonally with the same range, possibly the same stock.

Sainsbury did 75% off on the Sunday, then 90% off on the Monday, although just sparklers were left- at 5p a pack! Pain in the arse service, as per usual.

Seasonals tend to close and disappear, I would assume stock is just stored somewhere to be brought back to sell next year.

JTF didn't have much on sale because they had sold out of most stuff.

A few years ago I used to have fun touring all the seasonal type places, usually they had stock left and back then could sell it out of season, but those days have gone!
