Quick question, hopefully some can help.

Will i still be able to buy brothers fireworks like Fire One, Hurcules and Air Boss this time next year or is the law making them unavalable once current stocks are depleted?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure- I assume that under new regs they are 1.3G, at the current flashpowder content? Airboss almost certainly is.

If that is the case then yes, you will still be able to buy them from shops that stock 1.3G, however if you have over 5KG NEC (net explosive content) then you can only keep them for three days without a storage licence. As a guide Airboss is 500g NEC, Hercules is probably close to 2KG.

The alternative is new versions with blackpowder, making them 1.4G, or a system similar to pyromesh. I'm not sure- Brothers might bring out a new version, as for many retailers stocking 1.3G isn't practical.

But put directly - No law is making the current versions of these fireworks "illegal", regulations are just altering its status with regard to how it can be transported and stored. That said, unless laws come in restricting NEC to 1KG.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)
