How do I become involved in pyrotechnics, I am 17 and have been interested in it for a while and was wondering whether anyone knew a anywhere in the UK that I might be able to get some experience.
I am currently studying A level chemistry and hoping to go to University to study Chemistry. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance

Well I did a degree in Chem. Read LOTS of threads and try to understand them. Try to do the Cat4 firing course and the Assn of Stage pyrotechnicians course - both require that you are 18 though. Search online for a copy of MSER which is the immediate legislation.
Try to discover what part of the Pyro industry you really want to get involved with. If you really want the big bang stuff then the military may be a sensible option. See about the OTC at Uni.
