Preparing for a show when looking through some chemicals I found in the Garage (ones listed below). I was wondering if their was anything I could make with them;
Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2
Copper(II) Sulfate CuSO4
Sodium Hydrogen Sulfate NaHSO4 (a.k.a. Sodium Bisulfate)
Sodium Carbonate Na2CO3
Ferrous Sulfate FeSO4 (a.k.a. iron (II) Sulfate)
Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate NaHCO3 (a.k.a. Sodium Bicarbonate)
Potassium ferrocyanide K4Fe(CN)6
Cobalt(II) Chloride CoCl2
Phenolphthalein C20H14O4
Copper, Aluminium and Steel shavings
Gun Powder Substitute

What is the gun powder substitute? They are not used often in fireworks because they usually require fairly high pressures to work well.
Sodium bicarbonate can be used in some glitters as a glitter enhancer, as well as in other compositions, such as coloured smokes to cool the flame.
The metal shavings are probably too coarse for most pyro use, though the steel and Aluminium might be pretty in fountains.
Calcium hydroxide and Copper sulfate can be used to make other salts better suited for fireworks use. That is, less hygroscopic.
I believe Ferrous Sulfate can be used to rid perchlorate of chlorate in perc cells.
I cannot think of pyro uses for the rest.

Potassium ferrocyanide gives a very energetic composition with chlorates/perchlorates (it explodes in flame) - do a search on youtube. I have no data about sensitivity though. A diluted mix could be used as a very good primer:
Primer (credited to the user Aapua):
KClO4 - 50
K3[Fe(CN)6] - 20-25
C dust - 20-25
Dextrine - 5-10
