SIB, for those who don't know, is the "Single Ignition Box"- typically a large firework, that works through a variety of effects, usually ending with a notable climax. The logic being that rather than using several little fireworks, you can just set off one big one.
So yeah- how it looking?
Some SIBs can be very good indeed- If some care has gone into the production of them, and the artistry of effects, then the effects can compliment each other well, chaning the pace, angle and even bore size. However, some can just be a lazy series of average peonies with a bit of crackle, belted up in about a minute.
The typical "bang" ending is now often replaced with co-ordinated crackle bursts- which can look good, but run the risk of being over used.
However, the biggest issue nowadays might be the price. At upwards of £50, for a firework lasting a minute, this might not be something people can afford/be prepared to buy. "Pound for Pound" more can probably be done with a series of cheaper fireworks, with effects being more or less the same. IE just because its a bigger firework does not mean the effects are better!
