I'm looking for several tins like paint or Golden Syrup tins, Must be all metal! Must have a replaceable lid.

Does anyone have a good source?

I don't use treacle or Golden Syrup that much and paint now comes in plastic cans :(

Find your nearest building site etc,ask the painter for any empty emulsion tins, wash them out,job done.

My misses does the accounts for a paint wholesaler, she brings me fresh unused paint tins home for me. Why don't you go through the yellow pages for a local painting and decorating trade supplier. They will have fresh empty tins as they mix up paint for the trade and the trade are not bothered about fancy expensive plastic non drip pots.

Now then Starseeker, just piped me to the post so to speak with that good idea.

It just that i have allways got tins put back for charcoal making etc,so i thought other non pyro builders will be more than happy to give them away.
