Specific Fire Cracker Supply/Manufacturer

Just thought I'd pick your collective brains:
I'm trying to identify a make of medium/large fire cracker from a description I've been given.
It is red in colour, 4 - 6 inches long and as thick as a finger, it bares the motif of a roaring tiger and was purchased in Germany (many not have been made there).
If anyone has come across such devices I'd be interested in any information you can give me especially with reference to the manufacturer and possible UK or other supplier.
Hope you can help.

The moderators may well have a log of has activity here, even a means of determining his ip address or identity.
Without looking at them I don't know whether these are the same make, brand, or supplier.
Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

Sounds very like Tiger Brand which I believe are made By Horse Brand Fireworks in China. Most of the cracker strings I have used have been badged Horse Brand.
My friendly firework company Pyrotecnica Europla Valencia can make you any number, but I think they are illegal in the UK.

They are illegal to members of the public in the UK. I would imagine your friendly company would import them because of the labour involved. Even better were Maltese crackers. I don't know anyone who imports them now because of the cost. They had crackers covered in brown paper and the connecting fuse was tubes of newspaper with blackpowder delays rammed in.
The small truneos may well be inported but all the large tracca an d mascellata are made on site . I remember chatting with a worker while helping him spoon
flash into 50 gram units.
