I don't quite get your description, also why did you add the aluminium powder?

sorry wrong link :S that was my first shell id made. this is the correct video. also id put in some aluminium powder so that it would have a orange effect from the stars and the aluminium would have a white sparkle.

I am sure you are very pleased with your first mine!
Your stars did not last long though, perhaps you might want to make your next ones larger. Hoew big were they?
Arthur, I think that mill would be better than my current set-up, but really, I'm more keen on something like this one...

yeh i wasnt sure what size my stars should have been they were just under 1cm in diameter and only aprox. 2mm thick. next batch i make ill make the thicker so that they last longer.

Stars burn through so a thin star goes quickly. Look at a cubic shape or a sphere.
