Totally agree with Richard.
Was a superb if busy day.
After setting up the stand in pouring rain, it was pretty much non-stop for the next 4 hours. Only just about enough time to stop for a 5 minute Hog Roast!
Interest from the public was amazing, we gave out hundreds of cards and sold pens, Polo Shirts and copies of Spark. Questions were many and varied, but all positive and supportive of our aims. I spoke to grannies, teenagers and 5 year olds. We had firers from the competing teams, students, farmers, you name it, I even spoke to a Bomb Disposal guy who explained how they knew what we up to and were supportive, but how the police did not understand us and they (Bomb Disposal) had to keep on telling the police that we are not the bad guys!
I've put an album up at:
FacebookMore to come from Chris as well I expect. Hopefully some good stuff of the shows (which were excellent) from Richard, as he got to go up on the roof and get a perfect view!
