Anybody willing to share there views on the best rockets available for this November?

Not fussed on cost but they must fill the sky (unlike the Menshun efforts I had last year) thanks

Go hunt out some old 1.3 stock if anyone near to you have any left. My local store has some 3" ball head rockets but they are £15 though they have a nice rocket trail and a good big full round break.

Well, as a starter, be sure to go with ones that are either Pyromeshed in order to meet the 1.4G standard, or ones that are 1.3G.

Current spec 1.4G rockets, well, lets just say they arn't massive. I like them myself, but I'd doubt they fit your criteria!

There is a rocket called "The King" which is very highly thought of- although it isn't cheap.

Epic (Marvel, Paramount) do some big rockets, and Royal Party and Absolute have some meshed lines which will probably give a nice loud burst- a basic websearch should turn up footage of these lines.

The Absolute rockets are very good, Awesome, SFX and the new King Cobra ar amazing! These are meshed so can be transported.

However, if you are able to collect we have Kings & Queens whoppas which are bascally 3" and 2.5" Icon shells on sticks, Lovely big round breaks. We will also have some smaller 1.3g rockets

The sandling rockets are excellent.

I especially like the weco rockets also and jubilee fireworks have these under the name RM millenium pack, the glow worm is especially good. In my opintion, these are much better than the ilk of whoppas/ball heads etc.

Volume wise, even quite a small 1.3G rocket can be near the 120db limit, just as a single shot from a tube on a cake can, so its not the case that the bigger ones will be much louder.

However, the bigger ones will of course produce the nice big round bursts- usually!

My worst experiences with pyro letdowns have been with big rockets with poor performance- there have been some real shockers! Perhaps I was just expecting too much.
