sorry David, I thought you didn't buy larger items, my mistake :)

I do for a finale, if they are really worthwhile (and at £60)- I might budget one large item alongside many smaller ones for a whole display. Sometimes, no longer though, I've actually been paid for the fireworks, which gives me a bit more of a budget for the bigger stuff!

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Shhhhhhh - no talk of the wet stuff please ... Personally, I'm more concerned with the wind -
does tend to blow a bit where I am (the Fens)

Ive had some DRD stuff and it was awful and the small menshun stuff from last year was pretty bad too. What sort of size items are they?

DRD , no comment!

As for the small Men Shun stuff, I actually thought it was very good, as long as it was taken for what it was- low noise fireworks.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've noticed Sonic Boom has 6 2006 spec Inferno Sounds... well, they are the good old fashioned "noisemakers!"

Fire One looks to be a popular one this year- a neat firework, although personally, I'd say Epic's own brand ones- Awaken, Atomic Tornado, Ultimate Devastation (for pace) and Imperial Invasion (for duration) have the edge at this price point.

Here's a link too epic's Awaken if anyone is interested in seeing it. I had no expectations of this firework before lighting it hence the camera work. Honestly didnt expect it to be suce a big spread on it. Went down a treat and was highly recommended by everyone. If you require a sky filler for a finale then this is the one for you.
