I have done a search and it didn't come up with much, a few good comments, but old posts. Also the UKFR video's are old stock and names.
So.. anyone used them recently? Any fav's?
They are just down the road from me, might be worth a pop down!

I'm not totally sure here, but I think Vulcan, Maverick and Shogun were at some point connected- perhaps three brands owned by the same company (IG?)
I havn't seen any new spec Vulcan.
I think he is talking about the display company Vulcan in Carshalton, Surrey (or at least it was) rather than the Chinese Brand.
The Chinese Brand of Vulcan was excellent, Blockbuster Candles and Vulcan shells were a mainstay of my displays for a while. They made great large cat 3 cones too.

Cube was well known, although as already mentioned, it may well be "tail end" stock now. Soverign is a brand I've never personally seen at all. They also have Dancing Red Devil, which is a brand I havn't used much (by choice.)

They have been around for ages and have produced some excellent stuff over the years for Fireworks International, Kimbolton, Sandling and others. However, some of the packaging and build quality is not always up to scratch, especially with the cheaper end products and selection boxes.
Kruger Park was a classic a few years ago, as was Mexican Fiesta - the original, strange noise maker!

The 30mm bore cake I have fired (Starburst - old spec) was very good. They also have smaller cakes (shown in the Mercury Barrage selection) which punch much above ther weight - One I especially remember was Crazy Kamuro which for a small cake was very good.
The 75mm pre-loaded mortar mines were not as good as I had hoped for (I was hoping for something more like the the 75mm Kimboltons on the cheap) but at £5 a pop in the mixed pack they are pretty good.
I have also had a Sovereign 14mm 3 bar candle fan (not from Vulcan) and that was very good - I see that they stock the larger 5 bar fan which should look excellent.
The shop also has (or at least had - I shopped there about 2 years ago) quite a lot of stock that is not listed on the website (some looking pretty old). Looking at the current stock list much of it appears to be old regs and shown as only a few left so this is probably the transition year where much of the good stuff disappears - from what I have heard elsewhere starting to stock DRD is probably not a good thing !!!!

I have used some of the Soverign fireworks (bought from Vulcan as it happens) and I have to say I was impressed with the quality.
there are quite a few really nice itms in the Sovereign range this year, plenty of 1.3G items in there as well for those who lust after the "CRACK"
