does anyone else get fed up with all these crackling stars in nearly every firework,a poor substitute for a good bang!

Yes, totally. It's very over used now, which is a shame- crackle used to be a good, specialist, effect, in a few fireworks.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Hi All - my its nearly that time again !

Yes I had few little beauties tucked away also but let them all off last year. The reason......... because the 1.3g stuff I bought from epic was first class in terms of quality and VOLUME !!!
If you like the old school stuff dont piss about with 1.4g gear go for the 1.3g. OK its slightly more expensive but well worth it and you wont be disappointed :D

Actually, at Epic's selling price, it's not even more expensive when compared with what 1.4G typically is priced at.
