What are the fireworks like within the DRD street wise box? like what effects are included and are there any aerial barrages or good wide burst rocket shells?

As I've said many times before, avoid this box whatever you do.

The rockets have nothing but air in them and the rest of the stuff is utter shite, believe me!! If you would like me to put up the pictures of my box from a couple of years ago I will.

B&M have the old 'Liberator' pack which has 11 barrages as apposed to 9 in the Aldi one. Same price too.

This one

I'd suggest finding something at the new 8m Cat 2 regs. This pack is Cat 3, but at the required 25 metres it looks very very limited. There is a video on You Tube.

Do try to consider if the fireworks are suitable for the space you have, and your display, rather than just the price.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Yes, they are pretty good, TNT stuff but at a bargain price really.

Powder keg mines, 2 fr £2.
Liberator 11 piece barrage pack £19.99
Gunpowder keg (is this a mine) Looked large...£9.99
96 shot colour pearl flower cake £2.49

+ many more I cant remember

Couldnt argue at those prices?

Omg, looked in two of my local B&M's and couldnt see any! Will be going to check a few more soon, I payed £3 for the powder kegs from Asda!

Hi

Thanks, hopefully they should be the same!

Was looking at the £2.50 cake, and found this http://www.crillysfi...k-Multishot.php
only catogory 2 but at that price, should be ok! Its £4.99 on that site also.

Im thinking about buying the £20 barrage pack, more powder kegs and one or two cakes from B&M this year.

I think the cakes (of what there were, about 2) were very small bursts of stars, silvery and didn't last long. Fountains were plain fountains, showers of sparks, candles were coloured comets and the rockets were full of air.

Basic You tube search should find it.

Time for a small rant Posted Image
The picture content on the lid certainly doesn't echo what I would consider responsible firework users.
Am I perhaps being a tad stereotypical here or are these retailers aiming this product at wideboys, plonkers etc who are essentially killing our enjoyment of fireworks ?

Glad they are shite Posted Image

I can't go on You Tube at the moment, but try searching for "Liberator barrage pack" or similar. Typing the exact name is usually a good method.
