Lidl are selling fireworks again this year from 21st October but the brand that they are stocking is the important bit!
WECO FIREWORKS!!
These are the ones Aldi used to stock and they used to be brilliant!
I have to buy some of these to add to my display so I am now debating over 2x cyberbox for £12 or the Firepack which is at £12.99 (I know these prices have gone up but they are still quality fireworks).
I might also pick up a pack of the £3.99 rockets which are cheap and wont be too good but I don't have any rockets at present!

One thing that I have just thought of though, I wonder if Lidl will put the remaining stocks of weco they have up for new year at discount prices like they have done in previous years! Would be great if they did.

Wow that's pretty impressive if that video is accurate. A hell of a lot better than the TNT rockets I had last year from Lidl. Are they really new spec/1.4G?

I am quite surprised, though - aren't Weco supposed to be a quality brand?
Oh, and another thing - I may be wrong as I didn't have chance to inspect them fully before leaving the house this morning but neither of the two rocket packs seem to come with a launching tube. That seems a bit poor if that's the case!

Hey guys I managed to get to Lidl this morning before work and bought one of each of everything they had (plus 2 x 25 Carat cakes). However, on closer inspection I noticed one of the rockets in the bigger rocket pack (which I believe was called 'Cocktail of Rockets') looked very iffy indeed. I removed it from the packaging and the head is incredibly wobbly; it looks as though it is only just hanging on to the stick and would not require a great deal of force to remove completely. My heart sank when I saw this. The remaining rockets seem OK but not exactly the most sturdy I've seen (nothing like Marvel's Heat Seeker pack, for example). Safety must come first, and I really don't feel comfortable firing this, as I'm unable to judge whether it's safe or not. Had I noticed sooner I would have gone straight back to the shop and asked them to exchange it for a new pack, but I noticed too late and now I don't know when I'll next get to Lidl as I'm away this weekend and busy next week. I'm hoping I can get my brother to go in for me tomorrow to exchange it, as I'm worried that if I wait until next Saturday they may no longer exchange it / have any in stock.
I am quite surprised, though - aren't Weco supposed to be a quality brand?

Thanks for the info!
I shall be going down tonight to buy some!
What sort of size were the £3.99 rockets, also what were the sizes of the different cakes like?
Thanks
Dan
