Hi all,

Back for my annual visit/advice from you knowlegdeable people.

I was thinking of buying the selection box above, can anyone give me the low down
on it and what a good price.

It is on sale for £75 from a local all year round shop and I was wondering if this is
value or are there any better boxes around for the same price.

Thanks in advance.

It depends what you are after, I suppose. A big box like that will give you lots to light, but nothing particularly outstanding- lots of fountains that crackle and small comet barrages etc.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

I purchased the brightstar presidential selection box ,afew years ago for £50 pounds .The rocket packs were very good for the box size ,unfortunately some of the fountains are of a poor standard. Some are in the small brightstar boxes , also the two big mines are shop dressed ,just small mines in big cases . I felt £50 pounds was too much to pay, nevermind the £100 pound r.r.p !

Hi,

Thanks for the advice, seems the shop in Leicester is a lot over priced, charging £75 for
the same as other shops are charging £40.

If anyone can offer a GOOD selection for around the £75 mark and ar not too far away from Leicester
or can deliver before Friday then please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

That box might have changed with the new regs like a lot of Bright Star stuff and be pretty bad. If you can get a Brothers Companion Box thats a great box.

Hi Prestonboi,

I had that pack last year and as you say, it is a good box.

Think I will give Epic a call tomorrow and see what I can sort out for my £75.

for that ammount, I think it would have to be store pick up.

Hi David,

I sort of guessed from their website they may not deal with small
ammounts like I am interested in.

They do have a number of ' Contact Us ' numbers around the country including one
in Leicester so I was hoping I could pick up from there.

If this is not possible, does anyone know anywhere near Leicester that I
could get the stuff from at not too much of a mark up.

Alternatively, is there any retailer that I could deal with and get them delivered ?

Once again, thanks for any advice.

Epic are based in Batley, West Yorkshire. If you are able to make the trip, it's worth it.
lots of firework shops deliver, but it will be about £20-£30 on an order of your size.
