I think ive seen it is it called something like Science of fireworks or somthing along them line's. Its about their company and their manufacturing process of fireworks, doesnt really go into detail about anything. i watched it about a week ago if its the same program, thats the second program ive watched on sky about pyro now.

I have seen TV productions based on Kimbolton Fireworks they really didn't give out the trade secrets of compositions or methods. While it would be interesting to see the Zambelli vids I really doubt that a company so large would give away too many details.

The chemicals stated as colourants at the end of that video are painfull!! Potassium chlorate gives green? Woah, news to me!

The very small number of vertical wraps in the spiking and lack of horisontals would be surprising if I could trust the accuracy. However I cynically believe that is was hugely simplified both to make their job easier, and possibly to misslead the public for some reason.

Still, it's fun watching them and you never should expect anything closely resmbling accuracy.

Thanks CPF, I've spent all morning on Youtube! Good links!

As we all know it's not the chems that make the fireworks it's the techniques. It's really unlikely that Zambelli are going to publish all their comps or fully demonstrate their techniques. Remember that Youtube is the new www! Companies use youtube as a selling tool not an educational tool.
