hi
im a bit of a noob to pyrotechnics, i have been looking around for a good site that has all the stuff i need for ages (btw stuff like sulphur quick fuse pottasium nitrate charcoal tubes and hemispheres) does anyone have any good websites that they use.

I would try Inoxia they are able to send oxidizers by courier and have tubes as well.

Fuse is more difficult to find but you could try making black match/quick match it's not that hard to make.

Last but not lest I would strongly suggest plenty of reading and start of by making fountains
and go from there. Have a good look at some of old threads on here there is plenty of information
to get you started.

There are two vendors with signature links to chem sales and another member has a useful shop. There are two other useful vendors on ebay. All this by looking carefully. If you haven't looked thoroughly enough to find some of these then perhaps you should realise that this is not a safe hobby and you really do need to research a LOT to find the safe ways of doing things. Do not expect instant gratification in pyro, it's hundreds of hours research and design then preparation and testing before you possibly consider making anything.

Has anyone any experience of the company Inoxia Ltd, I have started my own little projects, but after looking on their site it looks alot cheaper than what I paid before for some stuff, but are they legit? Any info will be great.

In regards to getting fuse, well I found that very easy, there are two suppliers I know;

Hobbychemicals.co.uk or Xtreme.Survival.co.uk

Although both only sell green visco fuse 1.8mm

Don't worry, Inoxia is very legit! I'm pretty sure just about every member has orded from them, I have quite a few times.

hmm, they may be related to hobbychem a site that disappeared a while back, a tad expensive ask them if the use a specialized courier or the royal mail to send oxidizers and fuse to you.
saying that though people will use sites like this to obtain hard to get items like visco

mmm Yes. Oxidisers have to go by courier, and there are a few rules regarding that too.

Fuse is another matter, I doubt it is economically viable to send fuse at all. Most ADR couriers will not even touch class 1 goods as their drivers never usually get the appropriate qualification. There are a couple though, but it would cost £40 - £50 to send a roll of fuse.

As all class 1 goods are LQ0 (no limited quantities allowed to be sent outside of ADR shipping regulation) there is no practicable way to send it within the UK other than to pick the stuff up in person as you can have up to 250KG NEQ in the back of your car (go figure).
