BaCO3 Solubility in water 0.0024 g/100 mL (20 °C) (Wiki :rolleyes: ) I wouldn't worry to much about it, standard PPE. I'll be sure to ware the job lot when I try out my BaClO3 though!

Barium sulfate produces better greens than you might suspect - you just need the right fuels and an assisting oxidizer in place.

BaCO3 is still quite soluble in stomach acid though. I don't know how it reacts with the blood stream either.
