Many of the items and procedures written about were state of the art when published. However most have been outlawed or superseded by now.
Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

Let me try this...
Barium Chlorate, 60
Lead Dichromate, 4
Sulfur, 6
Realgar, 10
Calomel, 8
Copper Acetoarsenite, 8
Cadmium Sulfide, 4 (for that wonderful blue).
I'm certian inhaling smoke from this alone would probably kill you.

"Caution- when about to place any lighted material in the mouth, be sure it is well coated with saliva"
"...in this trick, until the gas is well out, any inhilation is likely to be attended by the most serious results."
"The burning banana"
"Dip a banana in the blazing alcohol and eat it while it is blazing"
Heres a good trick:
"To take boiling lead in the mouth...."
All very good highly safe party tricks im sure.....

Go figure.
Though despite my efforts to survive, I would still love to see some of these older compositions in action.

Sorry man, still under copyright. It was published in 1975, and the author is still alive.
He may have compiled it but I doubt if he has "copyright" except for the pdf. , this is just scans (photo copies) of
prior work.

"The first volume talks about how to blow up a car, make napalm and poisons such as ricin, nicotine, arsenic and cyanide. It also contained a full U.S. Army self defense manual along with a gunsmithing workshop."
Maybe we should offer him honorary membership?
