Hi everyone After a long period I am in the forum again . I have undergone a gallstone operation and fell sick for last two months. But in these days I have been successfully made my homemade visco machine. Now I am able to make 2.5 mm visco fuse in my machine . It works with BP well. But when I tried to make white flying fish visco with Al blasting powder the fuse didn't at all work and is burning like magnesium ribbon. know the composition of white flying fish? If there is any composition please tell me :)

Well, what size Aluminium were you using?

Fine flake would certainly be a good idea if you are using anything else.
The monkey leaped off it's sunny perch and flew off into the night sky.

To get a fish which flys you're going to need a composition that makes plenty of gas: I'd start with something like 70:10:10:10 KClO4/benzoate/red gum/aluminium. Try a not too fine atomised ali for short sparks, if you can get spherical titanium that would be better. I'd avoid flake as I suspect size of spark for size of spark it won't flow so freely in the machine.
Trying to do something very beautiful but very dangerous very safely....
