Hi again all!
Just a putting-my-feelers-out question regarding personal injury insurance.
Obviously we have Employers Liability insurance for our firework activity, which covers us against being sued by an employee injured through our negligence. However, it doesn't cover myself should I be injured. For that I would need a personal injury policy.
My thinking is that, hopefully as unlikely as it is, should I injure myself and not be able to work, I've lost my fireworks and day-job incomes, and am basically screwed.
Is this a policy people tend to take out, or is it a case of "running the risk".
Many thanks for your thoughts.....

Prob best talk to your fireworks risk broker. Most "other" insurers will regard fireworks as an uninsurable risk.

Thanks Aruthur....
Is this actually something people in the industry tend to take out, or is it more common not to?

With most of these personal injury insurances, you will only be able to claim upto 6 months worth of compensation, typical cover would be; To claim a maximum (upper limit) of £1500 a month for loss of earnings,...this will cost you about £80 per month in premiums.
