Sorry but I might be asking a blindingly obvious question, but where is the course going to be held?

Also, is there any form of certificate of attendence etc?

Right then chaps please check your PM's for the latest instructions on booking you place on the course.

The course is still open for further attendees, so either put you name down here or pm me. Either way I will forward the course booking details.

I will forward details of local hostelries to the interested parties in a day or two.

Cheers

D

I guess it has dropped a few pages back now (3). The location is Paddock Wood in Kent. I will of course give you multimap reference by pm over the coming days.

As to certificate of attendance we can arrange something for that, however it will be just that a certificate of attendance.

After speaking to one or two members this is the incentive for me to finally become a fully fledged UKPS member, the course cost is incredibly good value for money so please if it is not too late i would like to attend and book my place on the course.

Regards

Karl

Just a reminder that if you are coming on this course, the full fee is now due.

I'm just as guilty myself & will be paying this week!

We have enough firm expressions of interest to run the course, but if we don't get the money it won't happen - & will probably cost the UKPS for materials already obtained.

Well done if you have already paid...

Just a quick note, I spoke to the course operator yesterday.

Everything is arranged, as Phil states, we need the money! and the signed prohibited persons forms back to me.

If you don't have the email / pm saying where it need to be sent please pm me and I will get it out to you straight away.

There have been a couple of questions about where to stay whilst at the event.

There are several options, you are welcome to camp at the site. However if you want a little more luxury then the following hostelries are available:

The Old Barn Bed & Breakfast
Waterman's Ln
Paddock Wood
Kent TN12 6ND
01892 722269 ‎

Leading Edge Services Ltd
Unit, 1-2 Commercial Rd
Paddock Wood
Tonbridge
TN12 6YT
01892 836622

Travelling Snail Ltd
77 Green Ln
Paddock Wood
TONBRIDGE
Kent
TN12 6BF
01892 837576

Ramada Jarvis Tunbridge Wells Hotel
8 Tonbridge Road, Pembury
Royal Tunbridge Wells
Kent
TN2 4QL
01892 823567

Premier Inn Maidstone (A26/ Wateringbury)
103 Tonbridge Road
Wateringbury
Nr Maidstone
Kent
ME18 5NS
0871 527 8706

Obviously some of these are more expensive than others, I would guess all of these are in a 30 mile radius. There are plenty more available in the area (google is your friend)

I will get full directions to the site in Paddock Wood Kent shortly and email it out to all those interested.

By the way Chief I will send an email out to you shortly with the details on how to get on and pay for the course.

Cheers

Sounds like a good deal Vic. I think I will join you there.

Come on chaps lets have some cheques coming in. We need to get a push on now.

It you need info on where to send them let me know and we will send the info out to you.

One other thing that needs to be brought up is that it is a good journey for quite a few of us. So lets start a car share list to ease the motorway boredom / reduce the travel costs.

I am coming from the North East (Hull) so if anyone wants to hitch a lift let me know.

I would be keen to car share with anyone else in / near Yorkshire. Perhaps if we can work out a few shares and then book rooms at nearby places to stay?
