If you're interested then an okay quality video of this years Sydney fireworks has been posted on alt.binaries.multimedia. I assume it was a TV broadcast which has been captured off of VHS. It's a 510Mb file if you want to download it, but you'll need to grab the PARS as well if you have any missing bits as inexplicably they've been included in the PAR2 set. Bah!

Is this kind of post okay, btw?

It's not a website, it's on usenet in the group alt.binaries.multimedia. You'll need a newsreader such as Binary News Reader 2 (BNR2) or GrabIt or something similar, then you need to connect to your ISP's news server (usuallys news.isp_name.com or whatever) and subscribe to alt.binaries.multimedia (not to be patronising but I should point out that subscribing doesn't cost anything). If you can't be bothered with all of that, you can pay $10 and get an account with www.easynews.com and then you can just download the parts over the 'net and then unrar them once you have them.

I should point out it's all footage of the display going off, no behind the scenes stuff, sadly. But there's a whole lotta' fireworks being shot off so it's nice for a looksee.

It is yEnc though. :-(

I tried to get it and put on my site, but I gave up as soon as I saw it was yencoded.

Matt: if you want to see PP's work I have all of it, I can give you a URL.

Everything on Usenet is Yenc these days, it's just a better scheme. BNR2 will download it a treat, though, and it's not like it costs anything...
