Member Mumbles hurt in accident

You may be interested to know that Mumbles, a member here with a good reputation, was seriously injured in a firework accident at his home today (September 8th).

It seems to me as though this was caused by a very large quantity of black powder igniting, or something of the like. Whatever it was produced enough force to blow windows and doors out?

Hope Chris makes a full recovery.

Also hope he was licenced, for the sake of himself & the hobby in the US...

Condolences to Mumbles (Chris) and his family. I hope he makes a speedy recovery from his serious injuries.

Hopefully he will recover enough to give us his assesment of what exactly happened in due course.

Poor Mumbles. Hope everything turns out OK for him, he's made lots of sensible and valuable posts on here.

I appreciate all the well wishes and support. You guys are making this process much easier. I don't know how many details I can go into at this time, but my physical and mental status are good and improving. I can tell you that good safety practices and plans are key to my current status.

Wishing a speedy recovery Mumbles, i've had 2nd degree full thickness burns to 70% of my hand and that hurt like no tomorrow!
