Yup thats the one i was talking about. He is very expensive!
Also why does the U.S get fuse so cheap. Its like a dollar or 2 for some decent quick fuse.

havn't got a clue i gues its just got a lot bigger factories and the government of the us are not as fussy about different people buying explosive objects
I dont see why the UK government have a problem with fuses. Hey if someone wanted to make a bomb or something that can just get a fuse from a firework etc.

I dont think its a terrorist reason, i think its more along the lines of fire hazard and explosion hazard just like all cat 4 material. QM in a length over 1 meter doesnt half go off with a right old pop, now imagine a boz of maybe 50-100 50 meter rolls going of at once !!!! If they didnt restrict it then yo could potentially have half a container of it sat on your drive ( highly unlikly but its a possibility). Infact ime not sure fuse come under cat 4 its just suppliers dont sell it to joe public.

Makes me think it might be worth importing them myself if their is such demand. The regualtions cant be that high if wirelessfireworks are selling them without problems.

the government haven't a problem (well not yet anyway) its royal mail ect that have a problem, All cat4 wholesalers or cat4 firework company's can legally sell you quick match as its not classed as cat 4 and as long as you can prove your not at 14 year old kid causing trouble they will be happy to sell. the only problem is transporting it to you. so the only legal route without costing the earth is to pick it up your self.

this is just one strand so you would need 5 strands plus gummed paper to fold over match total cost to about £60 per 50M:lol:
quick match costs between £10 to £20 per 50M roll and is easy to find, just email your local firework company and tell them your lokking to buy some quick match for model rockets which is legal and you dont want to pay £2 per meter from your normal sources.
