My normal means of suplie have gone bust and im needing to stock back up.

I can see stuff for the USA yet no one will ship.

I've looked here and there is a conflicting list, we need a fresh new list as a stick i think but can people please point me in the right direction

Pete

I am down to my last couple of metres of quickmatch and visco which was purchased many moons ago from one of the large company's when I was still on the fringes of being 'inside the tent'. Could do with a restock, not vast quantities as I only do 2 or 3 x £1000 each year for my company but need it all the same. Any guideance on buying these would be greatly appreciated.

fuse, ect is easy to get hold of, a lot of users can sell it legally but its just sending though the post that makes things hard,

a lot of us users that on ukps members run firework companies or have very good ties to the fireworks industry, so depending where you live and as long as you can prove your not a 12 year old kid (being a ukps member proves this) then there are people all over the uk where you can buy and pick up the fuse without any problems.

what city or region do you both live.

I live in Essex and rank my involvment with fireworks as purely cat 3 hobbyist; the company I currently work for (an innovation network, nothing to do with fireworks) funds up to 3 shows a year at our leadership training centre in Oxford, my chance to play.
I did my stint as a firewok company owner 15 years ago, just nice to keep the hand in, if that is permissable?
Looks like my times of working with quick and pic, we never used visco, why would we, are assigned to history. Still as they say better to have had and lost than never had and I can remember getting through at least a 300m reel of pic per season, lost count on quick!
Many thanks for the various suggestions much appreciated.
Hope you enjoy the punch of a rising beauty as much as I did.

Cheers

Does the company you work for know what you're doing ( as in fusing cat3 to make cat4)?
I know you probably know but it would worry me if this was going on at a work even in case anything happened.

I've just ordered some fuse from this company. They seem very good for fuse in my opinion.

Lol. I wish, I've ordered 100ft of visco, its the only fuse I buy, I make my own blackmatch, quickmatch and spollettes for timefuse. I just thought, standard visco when you can't get it anywhere else was a good price. Its swings and roundabouts with all the suppliers, some things are dear and some things are cheap.

The UK needs a proper decent fuse suplie.

I've found a means of getting quick match, 10 rolls of 50m for £300 delivered. Its not waterproff but the brown paper type on display shellls.

Good price or not?

phill i reckon you should make a copy of your web shop but put the prices up by 100% and people will come to your new shop and pay the extra.

i still dont know how people get away with selling quick match at £2 meter, which is like 1000% markup:blink:. im really in the wrong business

Regardless of what I sell in the shop Deano it doesn't change the fact that £100 per 50m roll of qm or what equates to £25 odd for a roll of 50m Visco is ludicrous, compare everything else he offers for sale against mine and see the diference.

I also dont "INCLUDE POSTAGE" in everything I sell automatically as to post 10 x 500g parcels is a lot more than 1 x 5kg parcel so I dont try to make profit from the basic service of sending you what you have already paid (too much) for.

a lot of members on the ukps have access to visco / quick match being in the firework trade, anyone being in the firework trade can sell it legally without any problem, im sure cooperman has access to fuse and could sell it if he wanted to, but being a well trusted and responsible member does not sell to just anyone or send through the post like other members. i would not sell fuse to just anyone just because they wanted it, like any firework company we have at least a responsibility to make sure that person will use it in a safe manor else it will come back on us.

these other websites that sell fuse for silly amounts do it because they know unless you have links with the fireworks industry or know someone in it then the only way is to buy off the black market which they know people will pay over the odds to get some.

all i can recommend to anyone wanting hard to find items is to come to the ukps AGM's, meet-ups ect get to know people and all the doors will be open, most people just want to meet face to face to make sure your not some little kid and to get to know you.
its how i first started
