Groupon anyone heard of it?

Its a magical website that provides massive discounts off of stuff that will really wow the missis.
have a look at Groupon it really is quite good.... so where's the but i hear you say? ok here it is.. but they give really good credit for reccomendations (£6 per person!!) so if you do like the idea of it please please please pm me your email then i'll send you a recomendation link

Except that many of the discounts are inflated.

You often get offers of say 70% discount on a hotel break but if you check the hotel website, you see it is anywhere from a smaller discount to no discount at all.

Apart from that, touting for recs on a forum such as this is very bad form.

meh, if you can find a spa hotel that offers a one night break for two with a three course meal and full english for breakfast for £49 then your a better man than i am. This is the only forum i'm active on and this post is in the green room i havent done anything wrong

Congratulations in finding a bargain amongst the loads of dross that they promote. Was the stay and were the meals OK?

I did not say all of the discounts, in fact I belong to it and have purchased one or two.

One needs to check carefully, especially the small print regarding expiry of the vouchers that you purchase.

quite cheap for a wedding :ph34r: and malcolm: yeah the stay and food were really really good. I agree there's alot of dross that promoted by them but when they do a deal every day there's bound to be some rubbish ones!
