Firework Firers

I'm currently training for my BPA level 2 (firer qualification).
I just wondered out of curiosity, how much do companies pay their level 1 and level 2 firers?
Obviously this will vary from company to company, but I am curious as to what is about the 'average'.
Just to clarify, I'm in this for the love of fireworks and I would like to set up my own display company at some point in the future.

Personally, I think one should get paid for a job if someone else is making a profit.

Well I have done shows for a few different companies, and been paid anything from nothing to £120, depending on how generous the company is, how big the show is, and a few other factors.

so how many do you have on your shows then two or more firers? When I started with the company I fire with I did a few shows for free, now I'm getting paid it varies depending on the costs of the show, but from £50 - £250, not enough to make you rich but I don't do it for the money but the enjoyment, so money is a bonus.
