Expensive? Any tool purchased from Rich Wolter is money well spent. Keep us posted on any attempts to make your own.

Rich's Tooling is the best, Save up and you won't be disapointed when you buy them, plus he is a nice guy to deal with!!

Bear
There are old pyros, and there are bold pyros, but there are not very many old, bold pyros....

There is also a cheap place called Silform Chemicals in Paramatta but i think they might only sell to schools (which is fine for me) hehehe.

I just realised where I've seen that name before.
Checked an old (1992) Receipt from a chem supply in Perth and yep, its got 500g KNO3 written on it, from Silform ... Cost me $12 in '92 for half a K! Hate to think what it would cost me now.

Simon

EDIT: Just checked the guy's scribble again, its '95 not '92

It costs me $AU4.50 for 500g potassium nitrate from Silform. I am buying it directly from them and you are probly getting it after it has alreday been sold 2 times to other chemical suppliers and increased price.

We should start a different topic about chemicals in Australia because this is the a crosette star pump topic.
