Dear all,

I've recently registered on here, and would like to introduce myself to the UKPS Forums. I'm Adam.

I hope to be able to both contribute to posts and learn from the more experienced of you - which I suppose is the whole point of the forum to share knowledge.

Watch this space! :)

Adam

I have no problem with competing pyro shops please I welcome anyone that makes my hobby more cheaper. I just don't like people taking the p**s by selling chemicals 5x the cost of anyone else

I took over the running of the site a month ago, so still working on pricing structure etc. I see where you're coming from though, I just need to spend some time analysing competitor pricing.

Cheers,
Adam

Yep you have guessed it, I may well supply Adam with several items.

I have no direct affiliation however or interests in that business.

All business is based on supply and demand and competition drives the prices down. The internet is a very big place and I'm sure that no one buys at the first shop! Surfing for stuff is easy and fun. The result here Adam is that you will have few if any orders. Buyers are not stupid. Better to have something priced reasonably, get a good reputation, send goods out legally, give good service and your more likely to succeed.

well if its true he has just took over the business then good luck, the products are out there a lot cheaper if your willing to source and sometimes buy bulk, i recently found 1" gum tape at £1 a roll and that's not bulk ordering iv also found places selling the same product for £4 and i would have to buy 50 to get that price, its an open market everyone has a choice.

The only problem is if your new in the hobby and cant find items like fuse, oxidisers ect where a lot of sellers want to sell responsibly by not openly selling it on the web to just anyone. This is when the high price sites get the business, because buyers cant find the products anywhere else.
