what is required to hold a cat 4 display for a wedding?
i understand the venue should have held one before or licensing may be tricky.
and that i have to pay.
is it that simple?
the budget will be quite small £1000-1500 for a short duration show 3-5 mins maybe pyromusical if the budget permits it.
im asking here because likely chances are that if i hired someone they are here already
i live in south east essex, i can be more specific with details if required.
does anyone know of any venues near me or are there any firers/operators near me?
it would be nice to source a local team that could cater for our needs.

The biggest issue would be space, All Pro comapinies have their own insurance, so that wount be an issue, the venue neednt have held a display before (there's always a first time).
What part of South East Essex are you looking at, that might help narrow down suppliers

If you want a professional company to fire for you, simply give the company date time and place details and leave them to organise all the rest of the details and permissions, insurances etc.

If you want a friend to do a show for you expect the venue to take a detailed interest especially in the safety/competence/insurance issues.

The budget you suggest is very reasonable.

we have found a few venues that allow fireworks but its reasurimg to know we can possibly shop around.
i have read that consumer shows shot by friends can be a nightmare to get an ok and i can see why on such an occasion.
