I really want these to fire without the fuse delay, not saying it cant be done but this has to be legit.kimbolton do some candles with both a visco and a ematch but they are very expensive a lot cheaper to just e-match them your self.

If you find fireworks that have a QM within their cat3 compliant fusing then you can insert an ig in there on the site of the display under the MSER Fusing permissions. Totally legit!

Just to point out, you can remove the visco and insert an E-match. As long as you dont alter the devices intended function, it's ok.
That is an interesting point and one that has been argued with me many times in the past.
It is said that if you should change the existing structure or fusing of the firework from what the manufacturer has provided then the act in itself becomes an act of manufacture, therefore, removing the viscos would change the fusing and not be legal. However, adding to the fuse is not removing it, so sticking an ematch down the side of the viscos into the QM should be legit but removing the viscos is not. Equally, adding onto the viscos would also be a legit, i have seen a number of shows where the pyro guy is not that confident to open a cake up so adds a short piece of QM to the end of the viscos with the ematch in.
Can anybody explain if the above statement is correct in anyway and end this eternal argument for me
