Due to extreme hot weather the Chinese Government has suspended production of fireworks and firecrackers in Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangxi until August 27th – 40 degrees in these provinces at the moment.

Manufacturers are asking officials to review their decision with the hope to change the 30 day stoppage to 10.

Not good news for those cutting it fine with their season deliveries.

Post taken from UKFR - Pure Party

"If its not the heat, its ferrys sinking!!

Wonder how many were destined for UK companies...

Quote:
A ferry carring 26 firework containers sinked near YueYang 24 hours ago, 125 miles away from Liuyang. They were on their way to Shanghai where they would be transferred onto a vessel. The shipping service company explained it was caused "unbalance load". It is believed that all containers were for European customers, some were sailing to UK. Sorry to those were affected!"
