Just to let a few of you know, that guy on eBay you are referring to was actually me (PyroGuy). I decided to have a go and for a short time it was doing quite well however eBay kept smashing me for selling dangerous goods that were being shipped via Aus Post. They would remove my auction items and threaten to suspend me... then a few days later a security officer rang me from Aus Post and gave me a stern warning about shipping DG items incorrectly (looks like eBay passed my details on to them). I was then forced to use a courier, the cheapest price was about $28 (arrhhhh). After a week or so I added a few more items like charcoal etc and eBay suspended me for 7 days as it was a dangerous goods item being shipped via Aus Post (ggggrrrrr).
7 days pass and I am back online again for a second attempt, trying to do the right thing by using a dangerous goods carrier. 1 week later I am at work and my wife rings me saying she just came home from taking my son swimming and the cleaner said a Inspector from the Department of Mines and an officer from the Qld Police Intelligence came to my house looking for me.
Cut a long story short, I rang the inspector and he gave me a stern warning advising me that I was not allowed to sell these items. There is more to it and I will post the info if anyone wants to know. Anyway, apparently the Aus Feds picked some of my listings up on eBay and it went from there.
So guys, I tried and I am proud of my efforts. But at the end of the day were are simply limited with what we can do and purchase...
Thanks to all of the people who emailed me with your kind words or support and sympathy...
By the way if you have a minute, check out my new site PyroWiki...
