What is flying fish and falling leaf typically used for and what does it look like when lit ???? Never seen the stuff.
I don't really need a million metres of the stuff, anyone interested in doing a share order. Like ordering a roll or two and splitting the cost. Could be worth while if we get 3-4+ people involved. Just transfer money to a paypal account and order the fuse. The receiver can divide it up and post it... anyone interested ? I am happy to organise.
Thanks

The prices were a bit ridiculous, but I want it in the bookmarks none the less.

littlejohny, yes I would be very interested in the mortar. Could you quote me a postage fee? Thanks.
Jamesy, here is a video of "Falling Leaf Purple" fuse, unfortunatly the colour did not come out well on my camera. However you can see the slow burn rate of the fuse, and the purple colour is their in real life, but it is slightly pastel. I use the effects fuse as a type of mini insert for small shells, a few dozen 1" lengths make a nice effect after a shell break.

Edit:
My post was removed? I'm sorry if i did something against the forum rules, but i was under the impression that this thread was for sharing resources? I assumed posting a link to a retailer that you had no finacial affiliation with was not considered advertising or promotion? Please clear that up for me, who ever removed it. Thanks

If you are talking to me Alan, sorry mate I too looked at it whilst at work and it's book marked on my work pc. I will be at work tomorrow and if you still want it I will PM it to you.
BTW, made your RP propellant the other night... wow what a s@xy tail. It looks really cool. Lots of little white flashes :-) Love it.

I have a good collection of mortar tubes that are ex-packing wrap tubes, the sort of wrap that goes around pallets of stock for retail stores. They are all very hard and thick walled, hard to get though as you have to be there when the roll runs out to save it from the bin I also have a beautiful 3" mortar tube that came from a fabric shop called "spotlight" its around 600mm long and walls around 20mm. Thier bin outside is a goldmine of convolute wound tubes of all sizes, I get tubes suitable for rockets, shells, mines, fountains and all sorts out of there. Cheers maximusg for the link regarding the fuse that could be handy.
The tubes I have are also used for wrapping, "I looked further into it". some of mine have a black spiral around them some don't.

Or, if someone knows where to get it and is happy to buy and ship to me (I will pay you before getting it via paypal).
It's driving me nuts :-)
Thanks

I'd like to know where to get SGRS too I think its rather hard to get though.
It's quite annoying actually. I mean at the end of the day it's just rice starch...
Alany a while ago said I could get it from Coles in the Asian section, but I have had no luck :-(

I've actually got some on the way from Skylighter, but it's taking ages. Good ol' surface mail. Two months and counting, now, but it should hopefully be here soon. I haven't had anything take longer than three, at least.

This has been discussed several times before but yes, many people here have ordered Garden Direct KNO3 and it works perfectly well.
